Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

One great way to discharge most of your debts is chapter 7 bankruptcy. The process to file involves meeting with me in person to review your situation. If I agree that chapter 7 is the answer to your bankruptcy problem, then we will begin with filing the appropriate documents. I then file and move forward towards a hearing. This is about a 4 month process from start to finish and if successful, your Chapter 7 bankruptcy will be filed and all of your debt will be erased with the exception of child support, alimony, most taxes and student loans. Please contact me to review your Pompano Beach chapter 7 bankruptcy case in more detail.

Chapter 13 Bankruptcy

Another way to minimize your debts is to file for chapter 13 bankruptcy. This process is similar in terms of filing to the chapter 7 bankruptcy, however, the outcome is slightly different. Generally a chapter 13 bankruptcy filing results in you using your disposible income to pay for your bills for 5 years, after which time your remaining debts are erased. Again, this does not exclude child support, alimony, most taxes and student loans. Please contact me to review your Pompano Beach Chapter 13 Bankruptcy case in more detail.
