About Me

After graduating college with a degree in physics I joined the United States Navy as an officer from 1974 to 1978. Upon leaving the Navy I attended Nova Southeastern University Law School from 1979 to 1982 receiving my license to practice law in Florida on November 4, 1982. Thereafter, in addition to Bankruptcy law, I have handled and tried cases in many different areas of law including: Personal Injury, Social Security Disability, Contract Law, Family Law (i.e. divorces, child custody, domestic violence) and Immigration Law.

Bankruptcy law encompasses all of the fields of law. Not only should you know the bankruptcy laws but a bankruptcy case may have an issue regarding family law (when is it best to file - before or after the divorce), immigration law (how are non-permanent residents treated in bankruptcy), personal injury law (will I be able to pursue a personal injury case while in bankruptcy) or social security law (what will happen to my social security disability benefits if I file) and so on. In addition, as a result of practicing for many years, I have seen and helped clients with all different types of problems in their life.
